Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox born December 25 of 1954 in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox was a student for three year at the Royal Academy of Music London in the 1970s, was admitted. She was able to survive on her student stipend while working part time jobs. Lennox made the decision to alter her profession following her dissatisfaction with her lack of skill in contrast to other Royal Academy students. Lennox was a part of a group known as Dragons Playground as the flute player in the year 1976. The group broke up before they appeared in I.T.V's talent show New Faces. From 1977 until 1980, she was the singer-songwriter for The Tourists, a British Pop group. This is where she first got to know Dave Stewart with whom she would form her pop group Eurythmics. Lennox started work on Diva in 1992. It was her first solo album. It received lots of praise by critics as well as the general public. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth album by herself was released in October 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her favorite blues and soul from the time of her childhood. Additionally, in May 2019, Lennox has released Lepidoptera an album of four improvised piano tracks. This E.P. This album is a companion piece to her album Now I Let the door open... artwork which was on display at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. The album is her first self-released album. Annie Lennox is a Scottish artist and singer born on the 25th of December 1954. The latter part of the 70s was when she gained a little fame when part of The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international recognition in the 80s as Eurythmics. Lennox debuted her solo music career in 1992, through the album Diva. The album featured a variety of famous songs like walking on Broken Glass and the song Why. Medusa is her studio album from 1995. The album features covers of such songs as The No MoreI love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. The singer has recorded six solo studio albums, as well as one compilation album.
