Sutton Foster was a Tony Award recipient for her Tony Award-winning roles as Anything Goes in Thoroughly Modern Millie and as a character in Little Women. The first time she appeared on the television screen in Star Search at age 15 She has also performed in Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU as well as Royal Pains. Sutton Foster performed as a Solo Artist all across the US and also internationally in collaboration with Michael Rafter. Sutton's debut solo album "Wish" and"Wish," and "An Evening featuring Sutton Foster" Live at the Cafe Carlyle CD were featured in. She received her Honorary Doctorate in 2011 in the form of Ball State University, where she also serves as a faculty member and advisor for the Department of Theatre and Dance. In March of 2015, she started starring as "Younger" in TVLand, a new show produced by Darren Star.
